Drink Up - Infused Water Ideas
When those cold winter months strike it can be hard to keep drinking water. However, the importance of regularly flushing our bodies out with H2O is essential for optimal bodily functioning.
Our bodies are made up of 50-75% of water and therefore when we are not consuming enough water it can immensely decrease our cognitive functions, skin health, emotional levels and generally energy levels.
The recommended intake of water on a daily basis is 250ml, plus more if you are partaking in high intensity exercise.
I know that drinking water especially on cold days can be a struggle, however, a few of my favourite infused water ideas are listed below
Infused Water Ideas:
#1 - Lemon + Mint + Strawberries
In a water bottle simple combine one slice of lemon, small handful of mint leaves and 8 strawberries halves.
#2 - Raspberry + Lemon
In your water bottle simple combine one slice of lemon with 8 raspberries.
#3 - Cucumber + Mint + Lemon
In your water bottle simple combine, 3 long slices of cucumber ribbons, small handful of mint leaves and one slice of lemon.
#4 - Orange + Lemon + Lime
In your water bottle combine two slices of orange, one slice of lemon and one slice of lime.
#5 - Blueberries + Orange
In your water bottle combine 8 blueberries, and two slices of orange.
