Healing Your Gut Naturally
Are you walking around all day feeling bloated and unwell?
There is a high change your gut health is out of balance. For many of us this is a common occurrence especially when we change our diet, or general lifestyle.
From time to time I personally find that my gut health can get the better of me. The first thing that I will do is remove anything from my diet that may be working against the beneficial bacteria in my gut. Basically this includes everything in my diet that is negatively impacting on my micro biome:
- Processed Foods
- Artificial Sweeteners
- GMO’s and Pesticides
- Trans and Saturated Fats
- High Sugar based Fruits and Vegetables
Overhauling your diet can be a challenge, as it can be so tempting to reach for that slice of birthday cake or that piece of chocolate after dinner. But trust me your body will thank you.
In order to repair and restore balance within your gut, you need to focus upon dramatically increasing you daily intake of phytonutrient prebiotic foods, these include:
- Leafy Bitter Greens
- Berries - Raspberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries
- Organic Wild Caught Fish
- Turmeric (you can add this to smoothies)
- Healthy Fats - Avocado, Coconut oil
- Greek Pot Set Yogurt - Jalna
Also having a glass of warm water and Apple Cider Vinegar 5 minutes before your meal can also help with digestion.
