Beating the Bloat

Don't stress we have all been there!

It's so hard to pinpoint the exact reasoning behind the bloated feeling we experience. However, for a speedy recovery to defeat the bloating, here are a few simple techniques you can implement that I find work a treat: 

1. Water - ensure you are drinking a minimum of 1.5L per day. It is essential for keeping our systems clean by flushing out any unwanted toxins from our bodies. 

2. Move your Body - I love to do either pilates, yoga or go for a light jog. This gets our system back up and running smoothly.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar - I mix about one tbs of Apple Cider Vinegar with ½ Cup of warm water.

4. Limit Dairy, Gluten & Refined Sugars - Eat a very basic raw diet, with no processed foods. If I am feeling extremely bloated I will cut meals out of my day and replace them with fresh organic juices and smoothies - both high in protein and important vitamins.
